Word endings: -tion, -cian, -sion

In this unit you have learned about spelling words with the tion, cian and sion endings:

-tion is the most common ending
-cian is often used if the root word ends in c or cs and often includes the spellings of occupations
-sion regularly comes after l, r and s or if the root word would have ended in d, se, ss or mit
-tion and -sion are both used after the letter n and therefore need learning.
