Have you signed up for a free trial? Here’s what to do next…

    To help you get the most out of your Spellzone experience, we offer free training sessions for all teachers.

    Choose a:

    -       20 minute whistle-stop tour of the main Spellzone features

    -       50 minute in-depth tour of all the Spellzone features, including how to track your students’ progress.

    Each session can be tailored specifically for your school’s needs.

  2. Add your people

    Now that you’re familiar with what Spellzone has to offer, it’s time to add your colleagues and students to your school account.

    A free trial allows you to add up to 1200 students and unlimited members of staff.

    Don’t forget Spellzone doesn’t need to be limited to the English department:

    -       our spelling games are perfect for breakfast clubs and rainy breaktimes  

    -       our word lists are the perfect tool for learning new topic words in primary schools and new subject-specific vocabulary at KS3 and GCSE level.

    You can:

    -       add students/staff one at a time

    -       add multiple students/staff using a .csv file

    -       invite your students to create their own accounts using a qr code

    -       sync your school data with Wonde.
     
  3. It’s Spelling Ability Test time!

    Have a classroom full of students who are working at different levels? No problem!

    Spellzone is a dynamic resource that allows students to work at their own pace on learning pathways that are tailored specifically to them.

    The Spelling Ability Test will identify any gaps in the student’s knowledge and set work accordingly.
     
  4. Have you clicked on the Word Lists tab?

    Once your students are busy working through the learning pathways, you’ll have time to explore the Word Lists section of the site.

    Every word list on Spellzone can be used in a variety of learning activities, including multiplayer games.

    Learn:

    -       How to find the perfect word list

    -       How to adapt any word list to suit your lesson plan

    -       How to create your own word list

    -       What words your students are struggling with and how they can practise them

    Every month, we share 3 word lists for out users to explore. 
     
  5.  Results! Results! Results!

    As your trial comes to an end, it’s time to start exploring your school’s results. Don’t worry, Spellzone tracks all student activity for you and makes creating progress reports easy.
