In this unit, we learned about words ending in the suffixes et, ot, ate or ite. We focused on examples where these spellings create unstressed vowel sounds. By studying commonly used words with these endings we have gained a deeper understanding of how these suffixes affect pronunciation and spelling. Well done! |
