Look and read the word.
Say the word. Click the speaker icon.
Cover the word.
Write the word.
Check your spelling.
The most common way to spell the /er/ sound on the end of a word is with the letters er. As you go through this list of er words, say each word aloud and listen to the weak vowel sound. Can you hear how it sounds slightly different to the er sound in the middle of a word (like in person )?
