Spell words accurately using the Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check exercise.
How to use:
Look and read the word.
Say the word. Click the speaker icon.
Cover the word.
Write the word.
Check your spelling.
At the end of a word, sometimes you need to double a consonant after a short vowel sound. This happens in spellings when the short vowel sound is followed by one of these letters: f, s, and l.
In these examples, the s has been doubled after the short vowel sound. Say each word aloud as you learn it.
