This week s spelling pattern / rule is: Words ending in 'y' when making plurals Rule: We change the "y" to " ie" when adding the suffix ending s if a word ends in a consonant + Y. Baby= babies If the word ends in a vowel (a,e,i,o,u) + y then just add s e.g. boy - boys, journey - journeys, key - keys.
