multiple Twenty four is a multiple of six. Other multiples of six include twelve, eighteen and sixty. *
negative Numbers that are less than 0 are negative. *
integer A number that has an integer part and a fraction part e.g. one and a half. *
plus Twenty plus fifty is seventy. *
minus If you don't do your homework, you may fall behind and furthermore, you may get a minus. *
positive Positive numbers are the natural counting numbers and do not include zero. *
prime A prime number is a number with exactly two factors, 1 and itself. *
fractions Top heavy fractions have a numerator bigger than the denominator and can be written as mixed numbers. *
decimals Comparison is where you look for the value in another form, i.e. fractions, decimals and percentages. *
approximate The approximate value for the house was $300,000.
convert Convert this fraction to a decimal. *
proportion When two ratios (or fractions) are equal. E.g. 1-out-of-3 is equal to 2-out-of-6 . The ratios are the same, so they are in proportion. *
