effort Effort is the force applied to a lever. *
load The load is where a lever is providing force to an object or mechanism. *
pulley A pulley and belt system can transfer rotary motion and change speed or force. *
gear My car has gears. *
mesh When gears mesh it means the teeth of each gear are connecting to each other. *
mechanism The mechanism depended on a series of pulleys to make it work. *
ratio A gear ratio is the difference in size and speed of two meshed gears. *
