Information for students

Are you at high school or studying at college or university but still require help with spelling?

You probably won't want to use the same software that you used in primary school so Spellzone offers a fresh approach whilst covering the basic knowledge

Spellzone provides comprehensive teaching in all English spelling rules, with extensive word lists and practice in the form of interactive tests and games. The content is non-patronising and all teaching points are presented clearly, in a logical progression.

To help you to get started, the Spellzone Spelling Ability Test provides a baseline 'Spellzone Score' and creates a personal 'Course Pathway' which may include units from the Spellzone Starter Course and the Spellzone Main Course.

The test is repeated at key points and the score and pathway updated according to the progress you have made.

Word lists

If you have any spelling lists of subject-specific words or there are some technical words that you need to learn for your work, you can upload them for immediate use. There are also 1,000s of pre-loaded word lists on Spellzone:
