How do I view my own results?

Once logged in click on 'My Spellzone' then go to 'My Results'.

How do I view my students results?

To view students results you first need to have set up students with individual logins.
View all results via your Administrator or Teacher login.

To view the results of an individual student:

  • Click on 'Students' in the top sub menu.
  • Click on the name of the student
  • Click on 'Results'

If you wish to view the results of students within a specific class:

  • Click on 'Classes' in the top sub menu then click on the name of the class.
  • Scroll to bottom of page and select the required report from beneath ‘Results for all students’.

If you wish to view the results of all your students:

  • Click on 'Students' in the top sub menu.
  • Scroll to bottom of page.
  • Scroll to bottom of page and select the required report from beneath ‘Results for all students’.

What results can I view?

For an individual student:
Results Overview, Spelling Ability Tests, Spelling Course and Word Lists.
The Results Overview shows what students did on each login as well as seeing when they logged in and for how long. This is very useful when setting Spellzone tasks as homework.

For a class and all students on your Spellzone roll:
Course tests, course pages, Spelling Ability Tests and a results overview.
Tasks set (per class only), activity and logins.

How do I setup logins for my students?

Log in as an Administrator or Teacher.
Click on 'Students' in the top sub menu.
Click 'Create student(s)' and select from four options:
Manually, upload a student .csv, Invite students or Wonde Sync.
Follow the on-page instructions.

You can also set up teacher or administrator logins by clicking on 'Staff' in the top sub menu then on 'Create teacher(s) and administrator(s)'.

Our school doesn't have an administrator login, how can we get one?

Every site licence has an administrator login and details of this will be in the email sent to your school or college when the account was setup. If you don't have these details then try inputting your email address here. If you still cannot get access then contact us with details of your school or college.

We recommend that each school has at least two Spellzone Administrators.

Can I use a single user licence in my school or college?

Spellzone creates personal Course Pathways, tracks progress and saves results for each student so it is not possible to use a single user licence with more than one student. It is also against the terms and conditions to use a single user licence for more than one student. We have systems to check abuse of this and we reserve the right to cancel accounts if we believe this is taking place.

How do I print results?

Select print in your browser (usually under File in the browser menu) - the page will automatically format itself in a printer friendly way.

A student’s overview page can be printed by clicking on the printer icon on the top right of the page.

How do I change details like my name or email address?

Once logged in click on 'My Spellzone' then go to 'My details'.

For site licences, the administrator can also change the school/college details and manage other account preferences by clicking on 'Account' in the top sub menu.

testimonials

"Thank goodness for Spellzone during this remote learning phase. The site is easy for students to navigate independently and they're really enjoying the activities and spelling games. You get an awful lot for your money with Spellzone. Really reassuring is the very prompt response with helpdesk queries. I've very rarely needed the helpdesk, but when I have, the issue has been addressed and sorted within a very short time."
