Unit 27 summary

Word endings: -able, -ible

In this unit, we looked at the suffixes -able and -ible. Generally:

If we can hear a full root word, we use -able
If we cannot, we use -ible
It can be useful to learn -ible examples because there are fewer of them!
We can apply the suffix without changing the root spelling but sometimes we have to drop the e, double the final consonant or change the y to i.
