A free trial allows you to add unlimited members of staff to your Spellzone account.

Staff can have teacher or administrator accounts:

  • Teachers have full access to student details and their results.
  • Administrators have the same access as teachers, but they can also manage the account. We recommend having more than one administrator per school

There are two ways to add staff members to Spellzone.

1)  If you would like to add a single member of staff:

  • Log into Spellzone
  • Click on ‘Staff’ in the blue toolbar
  • Click on ‘Create teacher(s) and administrator(s)'
  •  Fill in the staff member’s first name/title, surname, and email address
  • Fill in the staff member’s position in the school
  • Choose whether you would like the staff member to have a teacher account or an administrator account
  • Click ‘Save

The staff member will receive an email prompting them to finish setting up their account

2)  If you would like to add multiple members of staff:

  • Log into Spellzone
  • Click on ‘Staff’ in the blue toolbar
  • Click on ‘Create teacher(s) and administrator(s)'
  • Choose whether you would like to create teacher or administrator accounts for the members of staff
  • Create a spreadsheet containing the following fields: first name, surname, and email address. Fill in your staff members’ details.
  • Upload the spreadsheet.

Each member of staff in the spreadsheet receive an email prompting them to finish setting up their account.

"Thank goodness for Spellzone during this remote learning phase. The site is easy for students to navigate independently and they're really enjoying the activities and spelling games. You get an awful lot for your money with Spellzone. Really reassuring is the very prompt response with helpdesk queries. I've very rarely needed the helpdesk, but when I have, the issue has been addressed and sorted within a very short time."
