Commonly Confused Words: Maybe vs. May Be

Maybe is an adverb meaning ‘perhaps’ or ‘possibly’. Here is maybe used in some example sentences:  Maybe it’ll rain tomorrow.  Maybe we’ll go on holiday next year.  Maybe I’ll win the next game.
