stair A stair is a support consisting of a place to rest the foot while ascending or descending a stairway.
step A step is a support consisting of a place to rest the foot while ascending or descending a stairway.
umbrella An umbrella is a lightweight handheld collapsible canopy used to shield oneself from the rain.
