This English spelling course is most suitable for learners aged 10 and older, particularly those who have found spelling difficult to grasp. However, it has also proved popular with some younger students who have no specific spelling difficulty but enjoy a challenge. The course assumes that the user will be able to spell simple words such as run, sit, stand, jump and then covers all the harder spelling rules.
The advantage of an online course is that it can be used on any Internet connected computer at home, in your child's school or your workplace. It can also be used on a mobile device. It doesn't matter when and where you work on the course as all progress and results are stored online in your password-protected area.
Parents need no expert knowledge in teaching spelling as the Spellzone course follows a logical progression and all spelling rules are clearly explained at each stage. There are extensive word lists for each rule with activities in the form of games and interactive tests. If your child has a spelling list or there are some technical words that you need to learn for your work, you can upload them use in our spelling activities and games.
